There are 3 possible options for the origin of life:
A) Neo-Darwinism and Abiogenesis: Speculative theory, unproved yet, with many anomalies and struggling against the improbability barrier amd complexity and diversity of life.
B) Theist Intelligent Design: A supernatural explanation, the Almighty God, with mysterious abilities and it's contradictions. For those who believe in Magic and sudden creation of something from nothing.
C) Atheist Intelligent Design : In a few years, it will be experimentally proved that Human Intelligence with sufficient knowledge of DNA and Genetic Engineering can create any form of life they wish. It is a simple extension to realize that quite probably is what has happened to us, i.e. we were created by scientists from an advanced extra-terrestrial civilization. This is more and more supported by historical, archeological, religious, Ufologist (UFO and crop circles) and scientific evidence. It goes with and infinite Universe in space and time. No beginning, no end.
Till date, Darwin's theory of random mutations and natural selection has been the most successful. But how can random mutation do that? You can improve a book by replacing parts by new text, intelligently put together, but you cannot do it by changing letters randomly and throw away the bad words. It does not work probability wise, same for DNA.
Look around people, the entire world is full of symmetries, in the shape of leaves, bodies of animals, how can randomness produce so much symmetry with such precision??? The Darwinian theory though quite successful till date, is based on questionable assumptions, and is unable to explain some of the very basic physical phenmena known to man, proven over the period of time.
For the supporters of the Darwinian theory, try answering this:
Why does evolution lead to more complex organisms, when every law in thermodynamics says that any system has the natural tendancy to attain a state of lower entropy? How do organisms become more complex, when there natural tendancy is to be more and more simpler?
Now, i am not here to advocate the case of Aethist Intelligent Design. But i am here to present a view, a possibility which should not be discarded without proper deliberation. As the Darwinian theory is finding it difficult to hold ground, we have to open our minds to endless other oppurtunities, one of which will be finally able to solve the mystery of our evolution without leaving any doubts...

well, if u ask me, the origin of life has a middle path between b) and c)
nw forgive me for being a computer geek i am...bt i believe all this world is kind of a vastly complex program!!! nt like the "matrix", bt a different thing all together...its like tht the life is created by beings of different world, bt nt left in isolation to cherish and peril...it is more of a controlled thing...and tht is where the existance of god comes into view. darwainism is being questioned on the basis of probability, well luk at it this way-wid so many asteroids in our solar system, we r nt really hit by one for the past few million yrs, and even tht wsnt a really major one tht deprived us living in a jurassic world...i m talking about the big one tht gave us a companion named the Moon some billion yrs ago...i mean the probabilities of nt being hit again r nt exactly very convincing!
so do consider my point tht there do exist a god, and it did create us, bt it is a completely different existance than wht many believe...it is watching us, bt its way of luking at things, running things, is more like, i dare say, a bunch of humans wud run a world in their control, rather than a divine way
